“Coup de Foudre” … It ‘was just a love at first sight entering this historic immersed in the true spirit of Palermo between the new port of “La Cala”, Piazza Marina and the historic market of “La Vucciria.” we imagined from the outset as a meeting place, where combining our passion for cooking, our experience in hospitality and looking for special atmosphere we created the first Social Restaurant in Palermo.
We met with the full complicity between these walls, treasure of the sixteenth century, where the sculptor Antonio Gagini realized his works and smistava in many churches of Sicily and Calabria. tuff blocks that characterize the entire room walls have been preserved in their original state and now love the light candles that enhances its beauty and charm. Guests, always welcomed with a smile and “bubbles with strawberry and mint” accompanied by an appetizer every night different proposed by the creative chef can always relax by listening to good music in the background and giving rise to a sensory experience not to be missed!
The idea of “Social Restaurant” was born in Palermo by the search for new elements that while we strongly linked to the territory pointing his gaze to the modern and more open Europe. “Social” is our way of conceiving life, in the company, with the magic of the meetings with the complicity of all that makes you feel relaxed, comfortable, pleasantly pampered. We gave harmony to the Good Taste, flavor raw materials are always fresh and in line with the season, masterfully prepared by our Chef, which makes each dish an emotional journey, respecting the balance of flavors, colors and genuineness and transferring each dish its great Passion and Genius.
We preferred the dim light of candles, fresh flowers on the tables, mint, jasmine and orange blossom on our patio overlooking Vucciria. The background music, our presence measured and careful, the art that combines the ancient and the modern with a unique decor and personal.
Symbolic element of our restaurant is the Social table where people of different nationalities can share the experience of a Dinner Gagini.
